This was my first read by Kaleb and it certainly won't be my last. I loved the characters in this series and was not expecting the journey they took me on. I enjoyed the change from BDSM and all that to a honest, love story. I loved Nina, Dan, Andy and Scott. Their characters were well developed, well thought out and BOY can this man write...It was gripping intense and once I started I absolutely couldn't stop. An Awesome start to the series.

Great book to read, lots of sex in it though, so it isn't a book for a teenager or anyone who would be put off, because of that. I did enjoy the story though, and am looking forward to book #2 and any others that will continue this story. I am anxious to see how the book and story ends.
This book is a good read. It's multicultural and shows things from different aspects. I enjoyed seeing a young man from Ethiopia adapt to American college life. Then he has forbidden sex and falls in love with the one person he shouldn't. But the feeling is mutual. As Danny searches for the father he had never known, things get really intriguing. Can't wait to see what is waiting for these characters in the next book.
The story line is interesting and some of the character development is quite good; but there are so many typos that it is hard to ignore these goof-ups.. For example "she wore shoes with high "hills". Thanks Mom! I'm so "stocked" I'd my eyes on her. I didn't push things 'coz you know, something has fallen on my "laps". ...just a pair of jeans and "t-shit" I slammed on the "break". The "Gini" is out of the bottle. I was "wrecking" my brain. ...resentment of a "guild-ridden" upbringing. There's tons more of misused words. Spell checker is not your friend. Aren't editors supposed to catch these things before the book is published. I don't think I can bring myself to read the next in this series.
I only recently discovered Kaleb Kilton, and I’m so glad I did. He knows how to write a great story that doesn’t necessarily fit into one distinct genre. It’s romantic, erotic, suspenseful, and forbidden romance, all components mix nicely together for a great read!!!

Faulty Family is about Nina and David….two opposites. Daniel is a college student matched with her son as a college roommate. Nina is a stay-at-home mother who gave up her career to be a mom and wife dedicated to her family which is less than perfect. They are in a sense a “faulty family,” and their secrets will come to light with Daniel’s arrival into their lives. He will bring change to each of their lives, especially Nina’s. Each character is very real and filled with faults, yet some are quite likeable. The pace is fast with the suspense, and the romance is incredibly sexy. If you are looking fora fast read filled with suspense, romance, and hot sex, pick this one up and read today!!!!

Engaging, suspenseful and unique love story. The story also compels the reader to see life from different vantage point. i can't wait for book 2. well done!

The narrative keeps you engaged and turning the pages! Two people from starkly different backgrounds and cultures come together in a passionate exploration of forbidden love. It is a unique book with well developed characters and multicultural facets. I highly recommend it!
