What I enjoyed most is that it was a book that kept me interested - wanting to read non stop makes a book wonderful ..........suspense and love are always a great mix and this book had it all........can't wait for Author's next book.............
Defense of the Heart is a great read! Just enough mix of romance and intrigue that you can not put it down. I really enjoyed the adventure and I hope to see future books from the author Jamie Dell-White I will be recommending it to all my friends.
Jamie Dell White has crafted a wonderful story that will be enjoyed by both men and women. Couldn't put the book down.
Started and finished this captivating novel today. As one reviewer ponied out, having grown up in the 70's, the story resonated with me. Furthermore, having grown up in Birmingham, I could really connect with many of the scenes. I'm hoping this will be the first in the series of the three (four?) J's. And thanks for introducing "JB rolls" and "Yu-Gi-Oh cards" into my vocabulary.
I found that Jamie Dell White's first novel held my interest so that I wanted to read on to see what happened next. To me that is a sign of a good read. The character development was evident and compelling. When I read a book in a day as I did with this novel it is a great book that held my interest and I was sorry it ended. Hope there will be a sequel to continue the story line.
GREAT book. The heroine absolutely sizzles, on the beach, in the courtroom, and in the arms of her one and only true love. I am an avid romance novel reader and this book delivers in all the right places. The book expertly develops relationships and explores many different types. There are the twins (Julie and Jessie), the long time girlfriend bond (Jenny), and of course, the love and heat of the romantic relationship (Jake). Sticking with the author's theme, this book is just as juicy and jazzy as you could want. We have all had those friendships in our lives that went beyond and that's what we find and truly come to understand with Julie, Jessie and Jenny. Treat yourself to light, fun, romantic reading with Defense of the Heart.
